Mi-Tech Services, Inc., a full-service engineering, design, and construction firm, seeks a Professional Land Survey Technician. This role involves executing boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews, performing boundary surveys, and handling all aspects of construction staking. As a Land Surveyor – Survey Technician, your primary responsibilities include; executing boundary, easement, deed and title review, performing boundary surveys independently or mentored, performing all aspects of construction staking across multiple industries, and producing 3D models and road corridors.

    • What it takes?

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure or eligibility for licensure is preferred but not required for candidates with demonstrated construction surveying experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education or technical training in surveying, geomatics, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant land surveying experience preferred, particularly in construction surveying and infrastructure projects
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineering plans and construction documents, correspondence, and memos
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar survey processing and modeling software preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that is approved by our insurance provider
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% based on project needs, with remaining work performed remotely or from an assigned office, as applicable
