Role summary

Michels Corporation is seeking an Accounting Assistant to perform accounting and administrative functions. Responsibilities include generating invoices, processing payments, managing receivables and payables, and administering the company credit card program. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of related experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred. This role is crucial for improving America's infrastructure through high-impact projects.

Core Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm CST

Under supervision, the Accounting Assistant performs a variety of accounting and administrative functions. Responsibilities include invoice entry, job setup, job modification while assisting with an ERP transition. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite
