Role summary
milk + honey is seeking a Beauty & Lash Specialist to provide personalized lash, brow, and waxing services. Responsibilities include performing various beauty treatments, conducting consultations to understand guest needs and health histories, recommending products, maintaining client records, and building strong guest relationships. The role requires current Illinois licenses/certifications, knowledge of skin anatomy and safe techniques, and a commitment to guest care. This is an onsite, full-time position with opportunities for commission on product sales and gratuities.
Description
As a Beauty & Lash Specialist at milk + honey, you’ll provide personalized lash, brow, and waxing services in a relaxing spa setting. Through thoughtful consultations and skilled techniques tailored to each guest, you’ll help guests feel confident, cared for, and refreshed. No need to bring your own guests—our front desk team and online booking help build your schedule with guests already visiting our location.
What you’ll do
- Provide lash lifts and tints, brow laminations and tints, facial and body waxing, and lash extensions tailored to each guest’s needs
- Use thoughtful consultations to understand each guest’s goals, review health histories, and adjust services for contraindications
- Recommend products that support each guest’s beauty needs and at-home routine
- Maintain accurate guest treatment notes and a clean, welcoming treatment room
- Build lasting guest relationships through personalized care and recommendations for future visits
What you’ll bring
- Current Illinois licenses and/or certifications required for the services you’ll perform
- Knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and safe lash, brow, and waxing techniques
- A willingness to provide the full range of lash, brow, and waxing services
- A commitment to personalized guest care and continued professional development
Pay + career growth
- Lash extension full sets: $54.25 - $84.25 per service ; Lash extension fills: $17 - $37 per service ; Lash lifts, tints, and brow laminations: $9.25 - $34.25 per service ; Lash care + finishing services: $3 - $17.75 per service ; Waxing: $1.75 - $46.50 per service - (Pay is based on completed treatments. Earnings vary by service type and bookings)
- Keep 100% of your gratuities
- Earn 10% commission on product sales
