Role summary

Monster Energy is seeking a temporary Chain Claims Assistant to manage the receipt, organization, and data entry of Chain Account invoices. This role involves providing general support to the Claims Department, acting as a primary point of contact for customer service inquiries from Chain/Bottler accounts and sales teams. Responsibilities include managing the department's email inbox, accurately entering invoices into SAP or other systems, collecting necessary vendor documentation, and troubleshooting invoice issues. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, self-motivated, organized, proactive, and possess strong communication skills, with intermediate Excel proficiency and typing/10-key skills. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration and 1+ year of accounting or clerical/customer service experience is preferred.

A Day in the Life:

In the position of Chain Claims Assistant Temp, you will be responsible for the receipt, organization, and data entry of Chain Account invoices. Provide general support to the Claims Department team, as needed and be the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries from Chain and/or Bottler accounts and the sales teams.

The Impact You'll Make:

Manage and organize the departments email inbox for incoming U.S. invoices (or via other processes) and ensure timely responses and appropriate follow-up.

Review and accurately enter all chain invoices received through mail, email, and other future processes in SAP and/or other systems.

Request and collect W-9's and new vendor setup documentation for new accounts, as needed.

Research and troubleshoot duplicate and/or problematic invoices.

Provide customer service and support to the Claims team, or internal departments, and MEC sales staff, as needed.

Provide miscellaneous support to Controller, Chain Accounting Manager, and Supervisors, as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Accounting or Business Administration or other related coursework preferred

Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting

Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical and/or customer service role

Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Intermediate Excel skills are a must - Test Scores required). SharePoint, SAP, or other accounting technology a plus.

Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, organized, proactive, and have a strong ability to communicate effectively across teams. Typing/10 Key required.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range$18—$24 USD
