The engineer will collaborate with product and data engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and lead infrastructure projects from conception to completion. Experience with AWS core services, DevOps engineering, infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and CI/CD is required. Curiosity about AI and experience using AI tools for infrastructure tasks is also expected. Kubernetes experience is a plus.

The Role:

Our engineering teams are building the next generation of AI-powered products. In this role, you’ll build the platform our engineers stand on: the infrastructure, pipelines and tooling that let them ship AI-powered products quickly and safely. You’ll work side by side with product and data engineers, have a real voice in architecture decisions, and own meaningful projects from scoping through rollout.

What You'll Do:

  • Own infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines so engineering teams can ship safely, often and with confidence

  • Bring an infrastructure perspective to architecture decisions early, working alongside engineers rather than at handoff

  • Own infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines so engineering teams can ship safely and often

  • Improve observability, alerting and incident response, tracing problems to root cause and sharing what we learn

  • Lead defined infrastructure projects from scoping through rollout

  • Keep our AWS environment secure, reliable and cost-efficient

  • Review teammates' infrastructure code and share what you learn

  • Use AI tools in your own infrastructure work, and share what works so the whole team gets faster

About You and What You've Done:

  • Hands-on AWS experience with core services (e.g., EC2, EKS or ECS, S3, IAM, networking).

  • 2-4 years of DevOps engineering experience, ideally in a small or mid-size company where you’ve worn several hats

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines

  • A track record of owning projects end to end and explaining technical tradeoffs clearly to engineers outside infrastructure

  • Curiosity about AI and experience using AI tools to speed up infrastructure, debugging or automation work

  • Nice to have: Kubernetes experience
