Role summary
This role involves installing and maintaining wet utility pipe systems, including sanitary and storm sewers. Responsibilities include ensuring job site safety, performing excavations and proper compaction, cutting and aligning pipes, checking slopes with levels or lasers, and sealing joints. The position requires operating heavy equipment like excavators with precision and may involve training other team members. Candidates must be physically fit for manual labor in various environments, capable of heavy lifting, and possess specific vision abilities. Experience with pipe fitting, welding, and adherence to safety procedures is essential.

Physical Requirements:
Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.
Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
