Role summary
Munson Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician (HTM Tech III) with 4 years of experience and CBET or CHTM certification. This role involves expert-level repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment, with proficiency in CMMS equipment data reporting and management. An Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology, or equivalent military training, is required. The position is onsite and full-time, offering a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits within a community-focused healthcare system in northern Michigan.
A Day in the Life
A high skilled Biomed with 4 years’ experience and CBET or CHTM certification. Under minimal supervision, HTM Tech III’s will provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. BMET III’s are expected to be proficient in CMMS equipment data reporting and management.
What’s Required
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or military trained in biomedical equipment service
- 4 years experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) - Must be from the International Certification Commission *If no CBET certification at time of hire, must obtain certification within 1-year of hire.
