Role summary
Join Munson Healthcare as a Nursing Assistant on the A7-Stoke unit and make a meaningful impact in your community. This role is essential to the care team, providing basic patient care, comfort, and support to clinical staff. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, daily living activities, collecting specimens, monitoring vital signs, and transporting patients. CPR certification is required. While no prior experience is necessary, comprehensive paid training is provided. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.
A Nursing Assistant's responsibilities may include: Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs Complete personal hygiene Collecting specimens Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise Transporting patients between departments Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient
Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times. May be required to lift more than 35 pounds. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
