Role summary
Munson Healthcare is seeking a Food Service Worker Level 1 to fulfill various roles including Cashier, Meal Service Attendant, Trayline Attendant, Food Preparation, Utility-Dishroom, Nutrition Assistant, and Patient Ambassador. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, HACCP policies, and participation in safety training. Responsibilities include reporting accidents, potentially working on a trayline, and performing other assigned duties. A high school diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years of related experience are preferred. Employees must be vaccinated for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella, and receive an annual flu vaccine or approved exemption.
A Day in the Life
- The Foodservice Worker Level 1 (FSW) may fulfill any of the following roles:
- Cashier
- Meal Service Attendant
- Trayline attendant
- Food Preparation
- Utility-Dishroom
- Nutrition Assistant
- Patient Ambassador
- Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
- Complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
- Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
- May work on a trayline to distribute food.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What’s Preferred
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- 0 to 3 years of related work experience
Shifts: Any day of the week - 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
