Role summary
Join Munson Healthcare as a Nursing Assistant in the Coronary Care & Cardiac Interventional unit. This role involves performing essential patient care, including personal hygiene, specimen collection, assisting with walking and exercise, and transporting patients. You will also be responsible for observing, reporting, and recording vital signs. CPR certification is required, and the ability to lift over 35 pounds may be necessary. A Nursing Assistant's responsibilities may include: Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs Complete personal hygiene Collecting specimens Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise Transporting patients between departments Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient
Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times. May be required to lift more than 35 pounds. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
