Role summary
We are a locally owned wood refinishing company seeking a dependable and hardworking Wood Refinishing Technician. This role involves transforming cabinets and hardwood floors in customers' homes. Responsibilities include surface preparation, taping, masking, spraying/rolling finishes, sanding, and light carpentry. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of painting/spray equipment experience, strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and is comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. This is a full-time, onsite position with a Monday-Friday schedule.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:
- Preparing wood surfaces for refinishing
- Taping, masking, and protecting surrounding areas
- Spraying and/or rolling cabinet finishes
- Cleaning, sanding, and refinishing hardwood floors
- Performing light carpentry as needed
- Following established refinishing processes and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized job site
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Working closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Completing final quality checks to ensure our work meets company standards
- 2–3 years of painting and/or spray equipment experience preferred
- Experience with cabinetry, woodworking, refinishing, painting, or similar trades is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
