Role summary

Seeking a remote Web Developer with 5+ years of full-stack experience to develop custom applications using technologies like Power Platform, SharePoint, JavaScript, .Net, Java, and SQL. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions based on customer requirements within an Agile methodology. Responsibilities include coding, testing, bug fixing, system integration, and supporting end-users. US Citizenship is required for a security clearance, and the role is hybrid with occasional on-site requirements in Fort Belvoir, VA. This contract position offers $60-$80 per hour.

Seeking a Web Developer with at least 5 years experience doing full-stack web development. Looking for an experienced developer who can collaborate effectively with team members to develop, evaluate, and implement solutions to complex problems. Work will primarily be remote however you will be required to be on-site for in-processing and for occasional meetings.

You will develop custom applications utilizing technologies such as Power Platform, SharePoint, JavaScript, Bootstrap, REST API, SQL, XML, C#, .Net, Java, OpenText WebReports, and Web Services. You will work with a team of developers and business analysts to design, develop, and implement solutions based on customer requirements. Design and develop in an Agile software development methodology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop web-based workflow applications to replace manual paper-based processes.
  • Provide the functional design, coding, testing, risk assessment and mitigation strategy for Development, Test and Production releases.
  • Perform unit testing prior to Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Test (UAT).
  • Provide bug fix remediation for QA/UAT test cycles as well as Operations and Maintenance for current production releases.
  • Provide system integration strategies, migration/mapping plans, and contingency plans.
  • Address Help Desk tickets that are assigned.
  • Support end-user training.
  • Maintain configuration and version control using designated Code Management System.
  • Develop & support the integration of developed applications with other systems.

Experience working with OpenText software or other ECM systems is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must have excellent communication skills due to constant interactions with end users and key stakeholders
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX
  • Familiarity with .NET and C# for full-stack development
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and unit testing practices
  • Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Understanding of web design principles

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
