Talent Network — Nearwater Capital

The Opportunity

Nearwater Capital is a specialty finance firm working with pension funds, asset managers, and PE firms across our New York, Dublin, London, and Toronto offices. We're actively hiring across several teams right now, but if none of our current openings is quite the right fit, we still want to hear from you. This is a chance to get on our radar directly, so we can reach out when the right role opens.

What You'll Do

Roles at Nearwater span origination, hr, project management, finance, operations, risk, legal, and technology, depending on where you land. Across all of them, you'll work closely with a small, senior team, take on real ownership early, and help build processes as much as execute them.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Direct experience in specialty finance, private credit, asset management, or closely adjacent fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred:

  • Prior experience at a small or lean organization
  • How You Work

  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of independence
  • A self-starter who looks for ways to reduce manual work
  • Hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves, regardless of seniority
  • Well organized and able to manage ambiguity
  • What You'll Get

  • Direct exposure to senior leaders and firm-level decision-making
  • The chance to shape a growing, multi-jurisdiction organization rather than fit into an existing one
  • Broad exposure across specialty finance functions rather than a narrow lane
