Role summary
Neocol is seeking a Director, Technical Architecture and Development to partner with the Managing Director in leading architects and developers. This role involves setting technical direction, ensuring delivery quality, driving internal initiatives, and developing team members. Approximately half of the time will be spent hands-on as an architect on client engagements, with the remainder focused on pre-sales, internal projects, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced consulting architect with a minimum of 8 years on the Salesforce platform, including 3 years in a leadership capacity, and hands-on experience with Revenue Cloud implementations. Strong skills in system integration, Apex, LWC, JavaScript, Git, and pre-sales are essential. This is a hybrid role based in the United States.
Role Description
The Director, Technical Architecture and Development is a right hand to Neocol’s Managing Director of Technical Architecture and Development. You will share the load of leading our architects and developers: setting technical direction on client engagements, keeping delivery on track, driving internal initiatives, and developing the people around you. You will take full ownership of the areas assigned to you and see them through without needing to be managed.
This role suits an experienced consulting architect who already leads by example and is ready to step into director-level leadership. Roughly half of your time will be billable, working hands-on as an architect and providing technical oversight across one or more client engagements. The rest goes to pre-sales leadership, internal initiatives, and helping to lead the team. You will work across all of our delivery teams and portfolios, and as the practice grows, teams are expected to roll up to this role.
