About The Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive knowledge in provisioning and setting up AWS environments. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Kubernetes, Namespaces, Bedrock, Sagemaker, VPN/VPC, and other key AWS services. This role focuses on enhancing cloud architecture, streamlining deployments, and ensuring optimal performance within our AWS infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with development and operations teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions, driving efficiency and innovation across our technology landscape.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS and Terraform in production environments. A strong understanding of cloud architecture, containerization, and automation is essential. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are preferred. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing complex systems. Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure including Kubernetes clusters and VPC/VPN configurations.
- Utilize AWS Bedrock and Sagemaker for machine learning model deployment and management.
- Optimize resource allocation using Namespaces and other containerization techniques.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD processes for fast and reliable software delivery.
- Monitor system performance and security, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Own and improve AWS cloud infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (build, test, security checks, deploy).
- Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (modules, environments, state management).
- Standardize deployments across teams using GitLab CI or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices to ensure system stability.
- Enhance security posture through IAM best practices, secrets management, and policy-as-code.
- Collaborate with developers to automate releases, reduce lead times, and improve deployment efficiency.
