Job Description

The Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist, Media Enablement Systems is a hands-on platform expert who powers Nordstrom’s AdTech stack, including our DCO platform, DaVinci; our feed management platform, Feedonomics; and additional tools as the stack evolves. The work happens in-platform: building ad units, configuring campaigns, optimizing operations, and reporting results. It is a technical, builder-and-optimizer role that delivers Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack ad campaigns at scale and with speed. The role partners closely with Media Channels, Creative, Product, Engineering, and external partners and agencies.

This role is offered as hybrid in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be available to work in office at the Nordstrom corporate headquarters a minimum of 4 days/week to be considered for this position.

A day in the life...

Build & Configure

  • Build, configure, and validate ad units and dynamic creative in-platform in DaVinci and Feedonomics, from template setup through launch.
  • Configure campaigns, tracking, audiences, and logic rules to spec, translating scopes into working builds with minimal oversight.
  • Build and manage platform-specific catalogs (brand, category, promotional) across Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other channels.

Optimize & Operate

  • Monitor live performance and tune creative logic, feed rules, and configurations to improve outcomes in partnership with media channel leads.
  • Manage feed quality, freshness, and error rates, including attribute mapping, transformations, suppressions, enrichment, and custom fields.
  • Troubleshoot delivery, rendering, and data issues end to end, and drive root-cause resolution across teams.

Report & Advise

  • Report on campaign performance and operational health, turning results into clear recommendations.
  • Provide technical feasibility input during scope definition, so requests are built right the first time.

Platform Expertise & Enablement

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across the AdTech stack, staying current on platform, process, and algorithm changes and evaluating new tools.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on requirements, testing, and migrations for new capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation and SOPs, and cross-train peers so that every workstream has real coverage.

You own this if you have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or technology, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in media operations, marketing technology, or eCommerce operations.
  • Hands-on, in-platform experience with DCO / dynamic creative tools (e.g., DaVinci, Innervate) or feed management tools (Feedonomics or similar), plus the appetite and aptitude to master the other tools in our stack.
  • Working knowledge of major media ecosystems (Google, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic platforms) and how creative and product data drive performance.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros and complex formulas, with strong data hygiene practices, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with clear communication across technical and non-technical partners.

Preferred:

  • Experience with ad platforms such as DCM, DV360, or Meta Ads Manager, and tracking systems.
  • SQL, JSON, RegEx, or other data manipulation skills.
  • Retail, eCommerce, or marketplace experience; familiarity with PIMs, DAMs, or commerce platforms.
  • Experience with retail media networks or large-scale catalog operations
