Role summary
The Living Well Attendant (PT) provides essential home making and personal assistance services to residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living. Responsibilities include tasks such as bed making, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping, alongside maintaining a safe and positive environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0-1+ years of general patient care experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Patience and compassion for the elderly are key personal attributes. This part-time position offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits plan for eligible team members.
- Provide Home Making Services as required: Make the bed, wash dishes, tidy the apartment, organize closets and dresser drawers, launder clothing and bedding, iron, grocery shopping, meal preparations.
- Provide additional assistance as required.
- Document on the daily report sheets services provided to the resident. Daily reports to be completed and returned at the end of each shift.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Level of Formal Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Area of Study: General Education
Years of Experience: 0-1+ years
Type of Experience: General patient care in a care facility or in a home situation.
Language Skills: The ability to understand and speak the English language.
Personal Attributes: Patience and compassion for the elderly.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.25 Hourly
