Northwest Pipe Fittings, a wholesale distributor in Rapid City, SD, is seeking a City Desk Sales Associate. This role involves assisting customers with sales and returns, managing phone orders, filling various delivery orders, and maintaining the sales desk. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and prior sales experience in wholesale plumbing supply or a similar industry, or a willingness to learn. Key attributes include a friendly attitude, teamwork, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated City Desk Sales Associate to join our team in Rapid City, SD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist customers with sales and returns at the City Desk

Receive phone orders and sales inquiries

Write up orders for customers at the City Desk

Fill will call orders

Fill UPS, Rapid Delivery, Karens Delivery, Speedee Delivery and Doreens Delivery orders as needed

Help maintain City Desk area after previous duties have been fulfilled

After Hours Phone when scheduled.

Other duties as assigned

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of warehouse and trucks

Ability to follow all safety requirements

At work and on time per company schedule

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Prior sales experience in a whole sale plumbing supply or similar industry or willingness to learn

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to move 50+ lbs. with use of equipment.

Compensation:

Hourly pay + commission.
