Role summary

Nourish is a leading AI-native digital health system and the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic, aiming to revolutionize the American healthcare system. They are seeking a Head of Therapy to lead clinical excellence for their therapist population, focusing on quality, engagement, and patient outcomes. This role involves setting standards of care, developing evidence-based guidance, and shaping the therapy care model. The ideal candidate is a licensed therapist with deep clinical expertise, 5+ years of operational and people management experience, and a proven ability to build trust, influence clinicians, and drive adoption. They will collaborate with Operations, Product, and Medical teams, use data to evaluate performance, and manage clinical leaders. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in NYC or remote, prioritizing in-person collaboration.

About Us

Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people’s health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we’re solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

As Head of Therapy, you’ll be responsible for leading clinical excellence across Nourish’s therapist population, with a focus on clinical quality, therapist engagement, and patient outcomes.

You’ll serve as Nourish’s dedicated clinical leader for therapy, setting standards of care and shaping our therapy care model. You’ll provide clinical oversight for our therapists and partner drive the implementation of initiatives that improve clinical quality and care delivery. The ideal candidate will combine deep clinical expertise with the operational and cross-functional experience to drive change across a provider population.

This person will report into our Director of Clinical Operations and work closely with our Operations, Product, and Medical teams. This role is full-time and open to NYC-based or remote candidates, with a preference for in-person. Our office is located in Gramercy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own clinical excellence for Nourish’s therapists, setting standards of care, developing evidence-based clinical guidance, and shaping the therapy care model
  • Build trust and credibility with therapists, driving engagement and buy-in through all-hands, communications, and other touchpoints
  • Manage and develop clinical leaders, setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and driving performance and accountability
  • Lead initiatives to improve clinical quality and care delivery, translating clinical strategy into execution
  • Use data to evaluate clinical quality, patient retention, and therapist engagement, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure impact
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Medical to balance clinical and business priorities, including reviewing new tools and workflows for clinical quality and safety
  • Help design and scale the therapy organization, including its future-state structure, hiring plan, and clinical programs
  • We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You are passionate about Nourish’s mission. You’re eager to be part of solving America’s healthcare crisis
  • You’re a licensed therapist with deep clinical expertise and experience practicing, ideally in a telehealth setting
  • You have 5+ years of operational and people management experience, ideally leading clinical teams
  • You’ve demonstrated the ability to build trust and credibility with clinicians, influence clinical practices, and drive buy-in and adoption across a provider population
  • You’re a strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator, able to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders across Product, Operations, and Medical
  • You have strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and drive multiple initiatives forward
  • You understand business and operational priorities and can balance them with clinical quality considerations
  • You’re comfortable using data to evaluate clinical quality and performance
  • You’re a proactive problem solver who owns results end to end and thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
