Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking a remote, detail-oriented Experienced Retirement Plan Distribution Specialist to process retirement plan distributions and loans. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, preparing packages, identifying defaults and RMDs, communicating with stakeholders, resolving inquiries, maintaining records, and assisting with operational tasks. The role requires 5+ years of experience in retirement plan distributions and loans, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with retirement plan administration systems and industry certifications is a plus. The position offers competitive hourly pay and professional development.

Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking an Experienced Retirement Plan Distribution Specialist to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will process retirement plan distributions and loans, communicate with participants and plan sponsors, and help ensure retirement transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

Process retirement plan distribution and loan requests from start to finish

Review documentation for accuracy and completeness

Prepare distribution and loan packages, including vesting verification for applicable plans

Identify loan defaults and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)

Communicate with participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and recordkeepers regarding requests and status updates

Research and resolve participant and client inquiries

Maintain accurate records and workflow updates within internal systems

Serve as a backup for participant service phone support

Assist with data entry and other operational support functions as needed

Maintain an understanding of retirement plan distribution and loan provisions

Complete industry certifications, including NIPA's Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator programs

Stay current on cybersecurity, compliance, and company procedures

Build strong working relationships with plan sponsors, vendors, and internal team members

Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

Five (5) or more years of experience processing retirement plan distributions & loans

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Strong time-management and prioritization skills

Experience with PensionPro, Corbel, or similar retirement plan administration systems a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Hourly Pay: $27-$32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Paid training and professional development

Work Location/Hours:

Work from Home

Must work from USA and be authorized to work for any US employer

We will supply all necessary computer equipment

40 hour work week, 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday
