Role summary
ECPI University is seeking Medical Assisting professionals to join their faculty team at the Greenville, SC campus. As a faculty member, you will provide practical, hands-on instruction in a small class setting, utilizing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and achieve outcomes. The role requires a minimum of three years of occupational experience in Medical Assisting and an Associate's degree in the teaching discipline. Experience with distance learning or LMS, and teaching or presentation experience are preferred.

We are seeking Medical Assisting professionals to join our faculty team. As a faculty member, you'll provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Teach in five-week intervals in small classes
- Share valuable industry experience in a nurturing environment
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Associate's degree in the teaching discipline or specialty area from a regionally accredited educational institution
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required)
- Minimum of three years of occupational experience in the subject field
- Current Certification of Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Two years teaching or presentation experience a plus
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with a variety of learning styles and skill levels
- Strong time management skills and detail-orientation
- Working knowledge of computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new computer software
- Experience with distance learning or learning management systems (LMS) preferred
