Role summary

One Medical is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its New Grad Program in Tempe, starting May 2027. This full-time role involves managing a patient panel, conducting various types of visits (acute, chronic, well, tele-health), and performing in-office procedures, with mentorship from an onsite preceptor. The position emphasizes continuous learning, team collaboration, and the use of technology to deliver high-quality, culturally competent primary care. Candidates must have completed an accredited NP or PA program with national certification and hold or be applying for an AZ license. The role is based onsite at the Tempe Gateway office.

Employment type:

  • Full time (32 hours of in-person patient care per week)

    • What you’ll be working on:

  • Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits with support and mentorship of an onsite clinical Preceptor.
  • Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Continuous learning during weekly Didactics with dedicated faculty, Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
  • Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

    • Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

  • Must have completed accredited NP or PA program with a national certification with a graduation date between May 2026 through November 2026
  • Must hold an active license in AZ or have submitted a licensure application by December 1, 2026, with license obtained no later than February 1, 2027
  • Program start date: May 2027

    One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

    The base salary for this role is $116,900 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
