Role summary

One Medical is seeking a Per Diem Family Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a casual employee role in the Chicago suburbs. This position involves seeing patients for a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits, with occasional telehealth appointments. The role requires at least 2 years of primary care experience, Illinois licensure, and Board Certification. Successful candidates will collaborate effectively with team members, utilize technology for care delivery, and demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care. This is an hourly role supporting clinics in Deerfield, Skokie-Old Orchard, and Oak Brook Promenade.

Employment type:

  • “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role)
  • 8-23 patient care hours per week

    • What you'll be working on:

  • Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
  • Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures

    • Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

  • At least 2 years of primary care experience required.
  • Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
  • Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
  • Board Certification.

    • This is an hourly role supporting the Chicago suburbs One Medical clinics including Deerfield, Skokie - Old Orchard, and Oak Brook Promenade. Skokie-Old Orchard has Saturday shifts available.

    The hourly range for this role is $67.00/hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include benefits.
