Role summary

One Medical is a primary care provider seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their San Francisco office. This full-time hybrid role involves managing a diverse patient panel through in-office, testing center, and occasional telehealth visits. Responsibilities include conducting acute, chronic, and well visits, performing in-office procedures, and continuous learning through clinical rounds and team collaboration. The position requires California state licensure and at least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience, or 1 year coupled with a fellowship or urgent care experience. Experience with LARC insertion and colposcopy is a plus. The role emphasizes human-centered care, effective technology use, and teamwork.

    • What you’ll be working on:

  • Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
  • Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

    • Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

  • Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
  • State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
  • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR
  • 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting, coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
  • Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures a plus

    • This is a full-time role based in San Francisco, CA at our Two Embarcadero Center office.

    One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

    The base salary range for this role is $164,700 to $196,875 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
