Role summary

One Medical is seeking a Per Diem Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a casual employee role in Fairfield County, CT. This position involves seeing patients for acute, chronic, and well visits, with occasional telehealth appointments. The role requires at least 2 years of primary care experience, current or obtainable Connecticut licensure, and board certification or eligibility. Successful candidates will utilize their clinical training, collaborate with team members, and leverage technology to deliver high-quality, human-centered primary care. The position offers an hourly rate of $94.00 and includes malpractice insurance and an UpToDate subscription.

Employment type:

  • “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role)
  • Anticipated average of 8–20 patient care hours per week, with actual hours varying according to office needs

    • What you'll be working on:

  • Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
  • Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures

    • Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

  • At least 2 years of primary care experience required
  • Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Connecticut
  • The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups
  • Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes
  • Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
  • Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification

    • This is an hourly role at One Medical in Fairfield County, CT.

    The hourly rate for this role is $94.00 per hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include benefits.
