Role summary

OneFourTwo Design Group is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Job Captain/Project Architect in Atlanta, GA, to manage large-scale commercial and light industrial projects from concept through construction. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, 5+ years of relevant design experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include client and team interface on budget/schedule, researching building codes and zoning, preparing presentation drawings, and producing construction documents for permits and construction. OneFourTwo Design Group is a full-service design firm. Our team provides services including Creative Design, Project Management, Master Planning, Interior Design, and Structural Analysis and Engineering. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Job Captain/Project Architect to join us in our team in Atlanta, GA and collaborate on large-scale commercial projects from concept through construction phases.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Manage commercial and light industrial architecture projects from beginning to completion by interfacing with clients and project teams on budget, schedule, and work plans
  • Research building codes and local zoning requirements
  • Prepare presentation drawings and diagrams to clearly convey design ideas
  • Produce architectural documents for permit submittal and construction

    • NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required, plus 5+ years of relevant design experience
  • Experience producing construction drawings in Revit is required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling and rendering software (Rhino, Enscape, Lumion), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience attending client meetings and coordinating across all phases of design
