Role summary

We are seeking a Senior Boomi Consultant with 5+ years of experience in EDI consulting. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining EDI solutions using the Boomi platform, ensuring optimal performance and error resolution. Key responsibilities include hands-on experience with end-to-end EDI processes, mapping, testing, and production deployment, as well as troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing data flows. Experience with industry standards like RosettaNet, EDI 4010, and various ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is required. Proficiency in API integration (SOAP, REST) and scripting languages (JavaScript, Groovy) is essential. A Boomi professional certification is a must.

Job Description:
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing EDI solutions using Boomi platform.
  • Monitor and maintain EDI processes to ensure optimal performance and error resolution.
  • Strong experience leading the analysis, design, and implementation of EDI solutions utilizing industry standards
  • Handson experience with end-to-end EDI process, including mapping, testing, and production deployment
  • Stay updated with EDI best practices troubleshoot complex issues, and help optimize data flows
  • Hands-on experience in design, development, deployment, and maintenance of integration processes using – Boomi platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration APIs)
  • Manage user expectations regarding appropriate milestones and deadlines.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in EDI consulting or related field with a strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols
  • Strong experience in RosettaNet , EDI 4010, generating the SOTPI and SOPI, Hierarchical structures with the SAP DESADV idoc as a source.
  • Knowledge on ERP (Oracle,SAP), experience in EDI with SAP skillsets
  • Hands-on Boomi integration experience integrating one or more of Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle EBS
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and EDI standards 
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying EDI solutions, EDI standards and protocols
  • Proven experience in EDI mapping tools 
  • Hands on knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, JavaScript / Groovy Script
  • Using generic APIs, have experience with enterprise integration tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and continually evolving environment
  • Boomi professional certification is a must
