Role summary

Otterbein is seeking skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide person-centered care in a company that values their expertise. The LPN will direct resident care, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and offer physical and psychological support to residents, families, and team members. This role emphasizes compassion, quality, and respect for resident autonomy and dignity. Available shifts include Part-Time 1st Shift (12-hour) and PRN. A graduate of an approved nursing program and a valid Ohio LPN license with CPR certification are required. At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice is desired, with long-term care experience preferred.

Available Shift: Part-Time 1st Shift - 12-hour shift, PRN

Responsibilities

Communicating a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders

Recognizing the autonomy and dignity of all elders

Understanding how to place decision-making in the hands of the elders

Focusing on providing high-quality service and care

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of approved nursing program

Licensure: Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, CPR

Experience: At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice desired; long term care experience preferred
