Role summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their team. This role involves maintaining store operations, managing staff through interviewing, hiring, and development, and ensuring a positive customer and employee environment. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for meeting sales and operational performance metrics, controlling expenses, and ensuring compliance with all requirements. A 5-week manager-training course is required, along with 1 year of supervisory experience and the ability to motivate others. The position offers a base pay of $17.50/hour plus commission and bonus opportunities, along with benefits like health insurance and paid time off.

Base Pay + Commission + Bonus Opportunities!

Responsibilities

This position has a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees
Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers
Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics
Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales
Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements
Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance
Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
1 year of supervisory experience
Ability to effectively motivate others
Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
Other duties as assigned
Reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent
