Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical experience, with preferred experience in solar power plants, inverters, tracker systems, or sub-stations. The role requires the ability to work independently or in a team, mentor laborers, and maintain a strong work ethic. Compliance with OSHA standards and physical ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds are necessary. On-call availability and potential weekend/holiday work are expected.

The Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while always maintaining safety and professionalism. These are local sites-candidates should reside within 50 miles of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania areas.

Compensation: $30.00-$42.00 hourly/DOE
