Role summary
Peraton is seeking a Data Visualization/Report Analyst for the Department of War Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) at Fort Meade, MD. This role involves creating interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports to help commanders and analysts understand risk, readiness, and mission impact. Responsibilities include developing visualization products, creating various reports, adhering to best practices, and maintaining visualization standards. Required qualifications include 8+ years of experience (with BS/BA), proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools, Python visualization libraries, SQL, and strong data visualization principles. U.S. Citizenship and a DoD TS with SCI clearance are mandatory. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Apache Superset and BI tool certifications.
Responsibilities
Peraton seeks a Data Visualization/Report Analyst to support Department of War Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with defensive cyber operations and AI cybersecurity support.
Location: Fort Meade, MD.
In this role, you will create interactive visualizations, dashboards, and reports that enable commanders and analysts to understand risk, readiness, and mission impact.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations
- Create Quarterly, Annual, and Monthly reports
- Design data visualizations following best practices
- Build autonomous and interactive visualization products
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests from leadership
- Maintain visualization templates and standards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associate with +10 years or HS +12 years of experience
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience with Python visualization libraries
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles
- SQL skills for data extraction
- Attention to detail and design aesthetics
- U.S. Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Apache Superset to create and develop dashboards and dash-sets
- BI tool certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Visualization, Computer Science, or related field
- 8 years specific experience
