Role summary

PerformLine is seeking a VP, Strategic Accounts to manage executive relationships for their largest Enterprise clients. This hybrid or remote role focuses on retention, expansion, and driving growth through C-suite partnerships and strategic account planning. The VP will act as an executive sponsor, own revenue outcomes, and leverage client insights to influence the product roadmap. Success requires proven experience in quota-carrying account management within financial services, complex negotiations, and a strategic approach to account growth. Experience with AI tools and RegTech is preferred.

TL;DR

Own the executive relationships behind PerformLine’s largest Enterprise accounts. You’ll be the executive sponsor, own retention and expansion, and turn our next-generation product roadmap into new growth. Each account has a dedicated Client Success Manager for day-to-day work, so you can focus on strategy, C-suite partnerships and complex deals. You’ll report into the SVP, Strategic Accounts.WHY THIS ROLE

    • WHAT YOU’LL DO

    Strategize

  • Partner with the SVP, Strategic Accounts to set the strategy and coverage model for your book
  • Set the operating rhythm for account planning, forecasting, and executive reviews
  • Serve as executive sponsor for our most important client relationships
  • Mentor peers and share your expertise across the team

    • Own

  • Own the retention and expansion number for your book, including gross and net revenue retention
  • Own revenue outcomes across renewals, pricing, contract terms, and multi-year agreements
  • Build C-suite relationships, often from the ground up
  • Maintain account plans, forecasts, and whitespace analysis

    • Engage

  • Partner with CS leadership to keep each partnership healthy and spot where it can grow
  • Work with Sales, Marketing/GTM, and Product to turn the roadmap into expansion opportunities, and bring client insight back to shape what we build
  • Lead executive business reviews focused on ROI and strategic outcomes
  • Represent PerformLine at client and industry events

    • Retain & Grow

  • Run renewal strategy and lead complex negotiations on pricing, terms, and multi-year structures
  • Expand into net-new lines of business and channels within your accounts
  • Find and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities using Client Success signals
  • Track at-risk accounts and pipeline, and report account health to the executive team
  • Use AI tools (Claude, etc.) to synthesize account data and speed up forecasting and renewal prep, and drive adoption across the team

    • WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven in quota-carrying account or relationship management, selling into financial services (banks, broker-dealers, wealth, insurance)
  • You’ve grown a multi-million-dollar Enterprise book through renewals, expansion and you can show the numbers
  • You’re at ease in the room with VP and C-suite stakeholders, and you’ve negotiated complex, multi-year agreements
  • You set the strategy and also run the plays yourself
  • You pick up new tech quickly and already use AI to work faster
  • You do your best to work in a fast-moving, growing environment where you help define how things get done
  • Nice to have: compliance or regtech experience, Salesforce

  • Estimated base salary range $150,000 - $175,000 plus uncapped commission
