Role summary

Pocket is seeking its first Account Manager to build and own the team plans strategy. This is a hands-on role responsible for onboarding, growing, and renewing accounts. You will define the account management playbook, manage account health in the CRM, and provide product feedback. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in B2B software account management or customer success, with a proven track record in onboarding, expansion, and renewals. Proficiency in AI-native tools, LLMs, automation, and a data-minded approach are essential. Experience with product rollouts and CRM management is required. Bonus points for experience with hardware plus subscription products, building account management from scratch, and familiarity with SSO or security reviews.

The first account manager at Pocket. Most people use Pocket for work, and most of them bought it themselves - the same path the big collaboration tools took before they went company-wide. Team plans are the next step. They only pay off if a team that starts with Pocket keeps using it, adds seats and renews, and nobody owns that yet. You do. Once a company signs, the account is yours: you get it live, grow it and renew it, and you write down how Pocket does account management as you go. This is a hands-on role: you run the onboarding calls, chase inactive seats, ask for the expansion and close the renewal.

### What you'll own

* Expansion: more devices and seats in accounts that already buy
* Renewals: on time, with attach rate going up
* The account playbook: onboarding, check-ins, expansion asks, renewals, etc.
* Account health in the CRM: activation, usage, seats, renewal date, next step
* Feedback to product and support: what teams need, what admins ask for, what breaks at rollout

### What we're looking for

* You've owned a book of business accounts: onboarding, expansion and renewals, with numbers to show for it
* 2+ years in account management or customer success at a B2B software or hardware company
* You've run rollouts: devices shipped, admins set up, growing usage of the product
* AI-native: LLMs and automations are how you work
* Data-minded: you know activation, usage and renewal dates for every account, and you act on them

Bonus points for:

* Hardware plus subscription product
* Building account management from scratch
* Admin tooling, SSO or security reviews from the customer side

### What we offer

* The first account management seat in a fast-growing B2B function
* A path to leading account management as it scales
* Direct impact on how the company grows, with direct founder access
* High-trust, high-responsibility environment
* Competitive base, variable on expansion and renewals, and equity
