Role summary
PMS is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee and supervise all payroll functions for the organization. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Management, with a minimum of five years of payroll administration experience, including two years of supervisory experience. Proficiency with automated financial applications is necessary, with Oracle experience being preferred. The position is remote-eligible for candidates residing in New Mexico or Texas. PMS is a mission-driven, non-profit organization serving underserved communities in New Mexico.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management or closely related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience in payroll administration or related field, of which two years include supervisory experience.
- Knowledge and skill with automated financial applications, including personal computer and related software. Oracle experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- American Payroll Association Fundamental Payroll Certification preferred; recommended within 24 months of hire.
- Certified Payroll Professional certification strongly preferred within 60 months of hire.
