Primrose School of Fort Mill is seeking an exceptional, business-minded Executive Director who can lead a school, build a high-performing team, and deliver measurable enrollment growth.

Our current enrollment is approximately 52 children, and our goal is to reach 125 children within the next 12 months. We need a confident, hands-on leader who embraces ambitious goals, takes ownership of results, and knows how to turn a growth plan into reality.

This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity for a proven leader to transform school performance and earn rewards for results.

What You'll Lead

  • Enrollment Growth: Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow enrollment through effective tours, family follow-up, community partnerships, referrals, and local marketing.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and retain outstanding educators and school leaders while building a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations, staffing, budgets, financial performance, and compliance with South Carolina licensing requirements and Primrose standards.
  • Family Experience: Build strong relationships with families, improve retention, and establish the school as a preferred early education provider in the community.
  • Performance Management: Set measurable goals, monitor progress, and proactively address challenges to keep the school on track.
What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in early childhood education, childcare management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in enrollment growth, admissions, sales, or business development.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, achieve performance targets, and improve operational results.
  • Strong business acumen, communication skills, and relationship-building abilities.
  • An energetic, engaging, and accountable leadership style.
  • A hands-on approach and the determination to achieve ambitious goals.
A bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience managing a licensed childcare center and familiarity with South Carolina regulations are strong advantages.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate past results, not just describe leadership experience.

Salary Range:
  • $75,000 annual base salary
  • Up to $25,000 annual performance bonus tied to enrollment growth, retention, team development, family satisfaction, and operational performance
  • Relocation assistance for qualified candidates
  • Paid time off
  • Professional development and leadership growth opportunities
  • Direct partnership with ownership and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact
Bonus targets and payout terms will be clearly defined.

Shift Schedule: As needed for Director.
