Role summary

PropRise is seeking a Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) in San Francisco to build their first outbound sales team. This role focuses on generating pipeline for their AI-powered commercial real estate investment platform, Primer. The SDR will be responsible for calling and emailing institutional CRE firms, testing messaging, and tracking key sales metrics. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, competitive, comfortable with rejection, and has at least 1 year of experience in high-rejection roles like outbound sales or fundraising. Prior B2B software sales or real estate experience is a plus. This is an onsite, in-person role with significant growth potential into leadership or Account Executive positions.

PropRise builds AI for institutional commercial real estate investment teams.

Our product, Primer, helps CRE firms process deal documents, populate their existing underwriting models, and automate parts of the underwriting workflow without replacing the team’s judgment or process. Primer is already used by institutional CRE owners, operators, REITs, and investment teams, including multi-billion-dollar firms.

The product works. The bottleneck is getting in front of more of the right firms.

We’re building the first outbound team at PropRise, starting with a Founding SDR role in San Francisco.

### The Role

We are looking for hungry individuals with a strong desire to grow and eventually lead a sales team.

You’ll spend most of your day calling and connecting with CRE investment teams: owners, operators, REITs, and private equity real estate firms. You’ll work directly with the founders to test messaging, identify what gets buyers to engage, and turn outbound into a repeatable pipeline engine.

**We are in person 5 days a week in San Francisco.**

### What You’ll Do

* Drive new pipeline through calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages, reaching senior stakeholders responsible for acquisitions at leading commercial real estate investment firms.
* Use calls, email, LinkedIn, Apollo, HubSpot, and other outbound tools
* Test scripts, openers, objections, and account lists every week
* Track your numbers: dials, connects, conversations, meetings booked, show rate, and qualified held demos
* Surface market feedback from every conversation
* Help build the outbound playbook for future SDRs

### What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days, you’ll learn Primer, the CRE buyer, our call scripts, and our target account list. You’ll start making daily calls and booking your first qualified meetings.

By day 60, you should be consistently booking qualified demos and improving your talk track based on real buyer conversations.

By day 90, you should be running a high-output outbound motion, booking qualified demos every week, and helping us understand which messages, segments, and accounts convert best.

### Who We’re Looking For

You are hungry, competitive, and comfortable getting rejected all day.

You should have:

* 1+ years of outbound sales, cold calling, recruiting, door-to-door, fundraising, or other high-rejection experience
* A willingness to make 200+ dials per day
* Strong verbal communication skills
* High energy and high urgency
* The ability to follow a process, track numbers, and improve every week
* Comfort working in person from San Francisco 5 days a week
* Interest in startups, sales, and learning how to sell into commercial real estate

Bonus if you have sold B2B software, worked in real estate, or used tools like Apollo, HubSpot, Clay, Orum, Nooks, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

You do not need to know commercial real estate on day one. You do need to be curious enough to learn it fast.
