PureGreen Land Group is expanding its sales capacity and adding a dedicated Business Developer focused on land development and commercial install work. This is a ground-floor opportunity to own a territory, build a pipeline, and be the face of PureGreen to developers and GCs across the coastal Carolinas. You’ll work closely with our estimating team to accurately price work and leverage your vendor relationships to help us stay competitive on every bid. Base salary plus performance incentives tied to revenue.

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, pursue, and close new land development and commercial install opportunities across the assigned territory
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline from prospect through signed contract — tracking activity, forecasting revenue, and understanding backlog
  • Manage the full sales cycle: initial outreach, site visits, scoping, proposal, negotiation, and handover to operations for install
  • Maintain high-level client relationships throughout the install process, serving as the client’s point of contact where it concerns specifics of the scope accepted. Turnover day to day communications to Install Manager and Superintendent and collaborate and support throughout install process.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership on pricing strategy, bid approach, and market positioning
  • Provide regular pipeline and forecast reporting to leadership

ESTIMATING & PRICING COLLABORATION

  • Partner closely with PureGreen’s Estimator and Install Manager to develop accurate, competitive project pricing on development and install work
  • Bring market and client intelligence into the bid process — scope clarity, competitor awareness, and client budget expectations
  • Leverage existing and new vendor relationships to negotiate favorable material pricing and improve PureGreen’s competitive position on bids
  • Cultivate and maintain supplier relationships that support the company’s cost structure and supply reliability

DEVELOPER & VENDOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key developer and GC accounts within the territory
  • Proactively engage contacts at project milestones - entitlement, permitting, construction start, and project close
  • Track upcoming developments, active projects, and pipeline opportunities across the territory
  • Represent PureGreen at industry events, site walks, and pre-construction meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven sales or business development experience in a related industry — landscape, construction, site development, or land development preferred
  • Experience working with developers, GCs, or owners in sales or project capacity is a strong plus
  • Established vendor or supplier relationships in the landscape or construction space is a plus
  • Estimating experience for new install or landscape/site work is a plus
  • Strong relationship-building skills — comfortable prospecting, presenting, and following up at all levels
  • Ability to read site plans, landscape plans, and project documents
  • Organized and self-directed with experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory
