Role summary

Pyramid Healthcare at Ridgeview is seeking a compassionate and dependable Life Skills Specialist to provide direct support to adults with substance use disorders in their 3C Program. This role involves helping clients build daily living skills, encouraging participation in recovery activities, and transporting clients as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in behavioral healthcare, along with a valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Pay: $16.00/hour

Pyramid Healthcare at Ridgeview provides comprehensive, client-centered treatment for adults with substance use disorders. We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Life Skills Specialist to help clients strengthen their recovery and build the skills they need for daily living.

In this role, you’ll provide direct support to clients in the 3C Program, help create a structured and supportive daily routine, and encourage participation in recovery-focused activities. You’ll also transport clients in a company vehicle as needed.

    • What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct care and support to adults with substance use disorders in the 3C Program.
  • Help implement client treatment plans by communicating and coordinating with relevant team members.
  • Accompany and transport clients as assigned using a company vehicle.
  • Welcome new clients and orient them to the unit, program, and treatment environment.
  • Support clients as they learn about 12-step principles and practices, including Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
  • Lead individual and group activities that help clients develop practical life skills.
  • Oversee and support the daily schedule for 3C Program clients.
  • Complete clerical and administrative tasks that support client care and program operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in the behavioral healthcare field required.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license in good standing required.
  • Ability to transport clients in a company vehicle.

    • Employment Requirements

    Selected candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with applicable regulations.
