Role summary
Quintech Electronics and Communications Inc. is seeking a full-time, onsite Production Assembly/Test Technician in Indiana, PA. The role involves customizing server hardware by assembling, configuring, and testing Microsoft Windows-based servers. Responsibilities include setting up and troubleshooting server products using automated test equipment, performing product testing with scripts, and reading technical documents and schematics. Prior experience or education in computer networking, PC hardware, and troubleshooting is required, along with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Additional Duties:
- Technicians will be required to customize server hardware by assembling hardware, loading and configuring software, testing, and validating Microsoft Windows based servers.
- Server based assembly, configuration, software installation, testing validation.
- Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting server related products using automated test equipment as part of the pre-commissioning.
- Perform product testing using test programs/ scripts based on test automation server racks to validate full module functionality.
- Perform other related duties as requested, directed or assigned. May work in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior computer networking, personal computer hardware and troubleshooting experience or education required.
- Ability to read technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision. Must occasionally work extended hours, including weekends.
- Work requires great attention to detail with a focus on networking configurations of hardware, feature sets and licenses, quality and time management.
