Role summary
Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking an SMT Programmer in Indiana, PA. This full-time, onsite role involves creating, updating, and maintaining SMT programs for AOI and SPI machines, ensuring program accuracy, and verifying Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Responsibilities include program optimization, defect analysis, and supporting manufacturing transfers. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes, IPC standards, and experience with relevant software and equipment like Panasonic, Mentor Graphic, Koh Young AOI/SPI, and Gerber viewers. Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills are essential.
Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Programmer whose main responsibilities will include creating, updating and maintaining SMT programs including AOI, SPI machines. This role will ensure all programs are up to date and verify ECO’s (Engineering change orders).
This position is full time – 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM) - In Person Only

- Program, optimization and support manufacturing
- Develop and implement a plan to eliminate on line program debug
- Root cause Defect analyses
- Read and follow work instructions, company standards and procedures.
- Perform tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail.
- Ensure all programs are up to date, and error free.
- Program transfers from computer database to SMT machines in a timely manner to help improve SMT efficiency.
- Perform other related tasks that are assigned and work overtime as needed.
Candidate Requirements:

- Gerber viewers and editing software
- Panasonic placement machine,
- Koh Young AOI and SPI equipment
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Knowledge of SMT manufacturing process
- Knowledge of IPC standards related to SMT
