Role summary
This is a leadership role for a Salesforce Platform Manager responsible for true platform ownership. The individual will set the vision and strategy for Salesforce, develop a multi-year roadmap, and lead a team of architects, admins, and developers. Key responsibilities include partnering with executive and business leaders to translate strategy into scalable CRM solutions, overseeing end-to-end Salesforce initiatives, ensuring platform health, data integrity, and governance, and driving user adoption. The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce in a complex, business-critical environment and the ability to bridge technical solutions with business outcomes.

You won’t just manage Salesforce — you’ll shape how it drives revenue, efficiency, and decision‑making across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Platform Strategy & Ownership
- Define and own the Salesforce product strategy and multi‑year roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and future growth.
- Serve as the strategic voice of Salesforce across the organization, balancing innovation, scalability, and platform health.
- Stay ahead of Salesforce releases and industry trends, bringing forward ideas that improve performance and user experience.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional Salesforce team including solution architects, administrators, and developers.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Oversee Salesforce initiatives end‑to‑end — from intake and prioritization through delivery, adoption, and optimization.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technology leaders to understand business needs and translate them into impactful Salesforce solutions.
- Manage expectations, dependencies, and timelines across multiple stakeholders.
Platform Health, Data & Governance
- Establish and enforce best practices for system governance, data integrity, security, and release management.
- Ensure Salesforce remains reliable, scalable, and aligned with business processes as the organization grows.
Technical & Functional Leadership
Configuration & Automation
- Design and oversee complex Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, and advanced automation using Flows.
- Guide solution design decisions to ensure maintainability and long‑term value.
Reporting, Analytics & Integrations
- Deliver meaningful dashboards and reports that drive insight, accountability, and adoption.
- Oversee integrations with third‑party systems to ensure seamless data flow and extended platform capabilities.
User Adoption & Change Management
- Drive Salesforce adoption through thoughtful change management, training, and ongoing user support.
- Act as a trusted Salesforce subject‑matter expert, resolving issues, guiding enhancements, and continuously improving the user experience.

Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience delivering Salesforce solutions in an administrator, lead, or manager role
- Demonstrated success scaling Salesforce to support business growth
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, or financial services is a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS/MIS/BIS, or related field required
- Master’s degree a plus
Work Schedule & Location
- Full‑time, Monday–Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Hybrid work model (minimum 2 days per week onsite)
- Office locations: South Windsor, CT or Charlotte, NC (commutable required)
