Role summary
Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Warehouse Associate for their Charlotte, NC location. This role involves safely delivering building materials to job sites, physically unloading products, and performing warehouse duties such as receiving, loading trucks, and inventory management. The position requires a CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement, 1 year of CDL Class B driving experience (or 2 years of CDL Class A), manual transmission driving ability, and heavy lifting capabilities. Moffett and flatbed experience are strongly preferred. Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver/Warehouse Associate for our Charlotte, NC Location. Can have either CDL Class A or CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement. Flatbed and Moffett experience desired. Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed. Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. 1 year CDL Class B delivery driving experience required Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two story homes
Providing superior customer service
Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
Providing warehouse support including shipping/receiving
Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area
Pulling order for walk-in customers
Must have a clean driving record 20 PAID DAYS OFF (includes PTO, Holidays and Family Focused Company Closure between Christmas and New Years).

Flexible work/life balanced hours, home every night and typical schedule Monday-Friday 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
