  • Serve as the primary client contact, manage expectations, lead project meetings, and communicate project status and decisions.
  • Coordinate engineers, designers, other disciplines, external consultants, site design professionals, and permitting specialists.
  • Bring and develop an established book of business; build client relationships, identify opportunities, and pursue new and repeat work aligned with the firm’s capabilities.
  • Lead proposal and fee development, support contract negotiations, and partner with firm leadership to define civil services, establish growth priorities, identify staffing needs, and help recruit and develop the team.
  • Mentor Engineers, Project Engineers, and Designers; provide technical guidance, review work, and support professional development.

In this role you will need:

  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, financial performance, proposals, and client communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams, mentor technical staff, and help build a growing practice, supported by strong technical judgment, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, and team coordination, including occasional overnight travel as needed.
  • Technical experience in site development and redevelopment, utility layout and analysis, grading, drainage, erosion control, water supply and distribution, and sanitary sewer and wastewater collection.
