Role summary
Sapience AI is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a product area end-to-end, driving strategy, roadmap, and execution for their cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and AI specialists. This role is critical for translating company strategy into a successful product, focusing on collective intelligence and AI-augmented workflows. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of product management experience, a track record of shipping AI/ML products, strong discovery and validation skills, and technical fluency. Responsibilities include defining product strategy, leading discovery and delivery, making sound AI product judgments, ensuring member trust and value, instrumenting for learning, aligning stakeholders, and advancing platform capabilities. This is not a product marketing, project management-only, or engineering management role, but one focused on strategic decision-making and outcome accountability.
Sapience AI is the collective intelligence platform for professional communities. We sit above the CRMs, AMS platforms, and knowledge bases that organizations already run, and we turn the expertise scattered across them into something every member can search, act on, and share.
The intelligence a community needs is already inside it. Most organizations just cannot reach it. Knowledge lives in silos, in legacy systems, in the heads of a few experts, and in fragmented records no one can connect. We change that.
Our work is grounded in four commitments: technology elevates people and never replaces them, the best expertise is already inside the community, everything is built on trust, and every deployment is purpose-driven for the organization it serves.
Let’s achieve more, together.
Where this role sits
This role owns a product area end to end. Where the product marketer is the market lens, you are the person accountable for what we build, how it works, and whether it ships and succeeds.
You lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and applied AI specialists to turn strategy into a product members rely on. You own the roadmap for your area, the decisions inside it, and the outcomes it produces.
You work at the center of the product organization, translating a clear point of view into shipped work that moves MINERVA and the COGENT architecture forward through each GR/GA milestone.
Why this role exists
In an AI market where capabilities can be copied in weeks, the advantage goes to teams that decide well and ship fast. Someone has to hold the point of view, make the calls, and keep a team building the right thing.
Collective intelligence is hard product work: reasoning over messy knowledge, earning member trust, and fitting into how communities already operate. It needs an owner who can hold both the ambition and the details.
The Senior Product Manager is that owner. You set direction for your area, make the hard prioritization calls, and are accountable for whether the product succeeds with the people it serves.
What you will own (Areas of Responsibility)
You hold eight areas of responsibility inside the product organization. Each one is yours to set direction on, build, and measure.
1. Product strategy and roadmap ownership
2. Discovery and definition
3. Delivery and execution
4. AI product judgment
5. Member trust and outcomes
6. Metrics, instrumentation, and learning
7. Cross-functional alignment
8. Roadmap for platform capability
AI-augmented ways of working
AI is embedded in how you work, from discovery through delivery. You use AI to synthesize research, draft definitions, analyze signals, and explore options, then apply the judgment that turns those outputs into sound product decisions.
The standard is human in partnership: AI accelerates the work, you own the judgment, the interpretation, and the call. The people who create the most value here are not the ones producing the most output. They are the ones turning evidence into clear, durable decisions.

You work most closely with Engineering, Product Design, Applied AI, and Product Operations, and you partner tightly with Product Marketing as the market lens. You align with go-to-market teams on launch readiness while they own the campaigns and sales motion downstream.
How we hire
We review every application, and we encourage you to apply even if you do not match every line above. Research shows that talented people, especially those from underrepresented communities, often hold back when they do not meet every qualification. If that is the only thing holding you back, apply anyway.
