
Residential Program Manager
Role summary
SARAH SENECA is seeking a Residential Program Manager to oversee group home operations and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals served and staff. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of group home experience. Responsibilities include staff supervision, scheduling, regulatory compliance, documentation, medication administration oversight, crisis management, and financial management for individuals. The position requires on-call availability and specific certifications (DDS Medication, CPR, First Aid, PMT). This is an onsite, full-time position.
-Act as an effective advocate for staff and individuals served in a group home setting,
-Demonstrate professionalism in the interactions with staff and individuals served
-Creative problem-solving and good judgment.
-Maintaining a patient approach working with individuals served & staff
- Demonstrating effective organizational skills.
- Maintaining a calm approach in dealing with crisis situations.
- Maintain on-going communication with assigned Program Director and agency Nurse.
-Ensure the safety of employee and Individuals served by SARAH SENECA
-Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
-Participate with rotating “On call” responsibility as scheduled
-Provide and oversee completion of daily progress notes and other related documentation for each individual through Therap and/or any other DDS or SARAH SENECA approved EVV
-Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations governing services provided by SARAH SENECA to individuals supported.
-Undertake full program staff (DSP’s) supervision responsibilities
-Create staff schedules and ensure the needs of the program are met through appropriate staffing levels and staff qualifications.
-Maintain a respectful approach with all interpersonal interactions.
-Support & oversee each individual in carrying out all aspects of medical and personal care, and programming.
-Oversee Individual and house finances. Support & oversee each individual in all aspects of state & federal entitlements.
-Implement and train staff on agency policies and procedures, personnel guidelines & house protocols
-Will need to maintain certifications in: DDS Medication Administration, CPR, First Aid and PMT
-Chair and keep minutes for regularly scheduled House Meetings
-Oversee all aspects of the group home from physical plant to ensuring staffing ratios.
Pay: $26.11 per hour
