Access Control & Intercom Technician – Experienced

Security Surveillance System | Aurora, Colorado

Security Surveillance System has been serving Colorado since 2006. We are seeking an experienced Access Control & Intercom Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, program, troubleshoot, and service commercial access control and intercom systems.
  
  
• Work with card readers, door controllers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, and related hardware.
  
  
• Perform system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting.
  
  
• Configure network-based access control equipment and software.
  
  
• Complete installations independently from start to finish.
  
  
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on access control installation and programming experience.
  
  
• Experience with systems such as Brivo, ICT, ButterflyMX, 2N, or comparable platforms.
  
  
• Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring, networking, and door hardware.
  
  
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently.
  
  
• Experience with IP surveillance systems is a plus.
  
  
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
  
  
• Comfortable working on ladders and lifts.
