Role summary

Sentra is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to articulate the value of its AI Data Readiness platform. This role involves translating complex AI and data security technology into clear, differentiated messaging and compelling customer stories. The Product Marketing Manager will collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to drive product positioning, competitive intelligence, product launches, GTM execution, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably in cybersecurity, data, or enterprise software, with strong skills in positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, and sales enablement. Experience in data security, DSPM, DLP, cloud security, AI security, or data governance is a plus.

Sentra is the AI Data Readiness platform for enterprises deploying AI at scale. Sentra continuously discovers, classifies, and governs sensitive data across cloud, SaaS, data warehouses, and AI environments - giving security teams complete visibility into what AI systems can access, what they can expose, and where compliance violations exist. Unlike alternatives that copy data to vendor clouds or require customer-managed outpost infrastructure, Sentra provisions ephemeral scanners directly inside the customer's environment, delivering petabyte-scale classification at a fraction of the cost. Trusted by Lyft, SoFi, Munich RE, PennyMac, Glovo, and others.

We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager who can turn complex technology into clear, differentiated stories that resonate with customers and help our field teams win.

About The Role

You’ll be hands-on with significant ownership. You’ll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and the broader Marketing team to shape positioning, bring products and capabilities to market, understand our competitive landscape, and give our field teams the messaging and tools they need throughout the buyer journey.

You’ll be comfortable going deep with technical teams, talking directly with customers and sellers, and then turning what you learn into simple, compelling messaging.

Responsibilities

Positioning & Messaging

  • Help sharpen and evolve positioning and messaging across Sentra’s platform, products, and key use cases. Turn complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated customer value.

Competitive Intelligence

  • Help build our competitive program, including positioning, battlecards, objection handling, and field guidance that helps Sales navigate competitive deals.

Product Launches & GTM

  • Drive key aspects of product launches and releases, partnering with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing on messaging, enablement, and GTM execution.

Sales Enablement

  • Create the messaging, tools, and training the field needs to sell effectively. Stay close to Sales to understand what resonates, where deals get stuck, and what support is needed.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Partner with the broader Marketing team and executives to translate Sentra’s point of view into compelling content, campaigns, customer stories, and thought leadership.

  • Ability to understand complex technology and translate it into simple, compelling customer value
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working closely with Product, Sales, technical teams, and customers
  • Able to think strategically while executing in a fast-moving startup environment

Experience in data security, DSPM, DLP, cloud security, AI security, or data governance is a strong plus.
