Role Description
This is a full-time Cyber Security Engineer role located on-site at our office in Padua. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats to ensure the integrity of applications, networks, and data. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security protocols, and working on strategies to enhance both application and network security. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class security practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Application Security and Cybersecurity concepts and practices
- Strong expertise in Network Security and Information Security protocols
- Experience performing Vulnerability Assessments and recommending mitigation strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to an evolving security landscape
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
