About Shapely

Shapely is transforming weight loss care through a physician-led, evidence-based model that makes treatment affordable and accessible. We pair clinical excellence with a seamless integrated app to help patients achieve sustainable, long-lasting results. As we scale across multiple states, we're hiring a Sales Specialist – Patient Support Coordinator to be the first point of contact for prospective patients and guide them into care.

As our Sales Specialist, you'll be the first voice many prospective patients hear. You'll connect with warm leads who have already expressed interest, help them understand our program, answer their questions about eligibility and cost, and convert that interest into a scheduled appointment. It's a consultative, phone-based sales role in a healthcare setting — equal parts persuasion and genuine care.

This is a full-time, remote contractor role on a Pacific Time (PST) schedule, with room to grow and a supportive team behind you.

What You'll Do

1. Outbound Lead Engagement — the core of the role

  • Make outbound sales calls and follow-ups to prospective patients who have expressed interest in Shapely.
  • Educate leads on our program, our physician-led model, and how GLP-1/GIP weight loss medications work.
  • Explain insurance eligibility basics and general coverage considerations to set accurate expectations.
  • Guide interested leads through enrollment and schedule their initial appointment.

2. Pipeline & Conversion Management

  • Manage your pipeline of leads in the CRM, tracking follow-ups and conversion status.
  • Meet or exceed targets for outbound calls, conversions, and scheduled appointments.
  • Re-engage warm leads who haven't yet enrolled to answer outstanding questions and move them forward.

3. Cross-Team Coordination

  • Partner with our Prior Authorization and Concierge teams to ensure a smooth handoff once a patient enrolls.
  • Relay common objections, questions, and friction points to leadership to help refine our messaging and process.

  • A persuasive, consultative communication style that builds trust quickly over the phone.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or telehealth environment, or a similar patient-facing role.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and patient privacy (training also provided).
  • Comfortable explaining insurance eligibility and medication coverage basics to set accurate expectations.
  • Resilient and self-motivated when working through a high-volume outbound pipeline.
