Role summary

Shopistry is seeking a Senior Front-end/Full stack Engineer to contribute to their innovative software products. The role involves developing large-scale SaaS web applications using JavaScript and React, writing high-quality code, and coordinating cross-functionally to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-oriented team player with strong communication and leadership skills, familiar with concepts like Jamstack, Redux, and PWAs. Experience with microservices, web services/API integrations, and e-commerce is valued. This is a full-time position with competitive salary, benefits, and an equity incentive plan.

We're looking for a Senior Front-end/Full stack Engineer to be a key contributor to Shopistry and our growth with your skills and ideas!

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multitasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a working with a strong team responsible for the development of innovative software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Development of frontend web applications in JavaScript (React primarily)
Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
Develop and support software applications and new functionality enhancements
Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives
Support test and deployment of new products and features
Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience, developing SaaS/complex web applications (not just websites)
E-Commerce experience is a bonus
Strong experience in JavaScript and front end application development
Terms like Jamstack, Redux, PWA are things you recognize in your sleep
Results-oriented, data-driven, experimental attitude towards your work
Creative engineer, able to translate designs into pixel-perfect applications
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Data-driven SaaS engineering
Progressive Web Applications
Web services / API integrations
Microservice architectures
